The Donald M. Kendall Sculpture Gardens

For Abby's Birthday we went to The Donald M. Kendell Sculpture Gardens located on the grounds of Pepsico's World Headquarters in Purchase, New York. Named after a former chairman of the board and CEO, the gardens were begun in 1965 and now consist of 45 works located on 168 acres of beautifully landscaped property. A 1.3 mile path leads a visitor around the grounds and allows viewing of each piece of art.

The grounds are open to the public daily from 7:30am to 7:30 pm from April to October and from 7:30am to 5pm from November to March. From Memorial Day to Labor Day picnics are allowed in the picnic grove though no alcoholic beverages are allowed. So Abby's bottle of wine had to stay in the car.
